Dog and His Fuzzy Purple Hippo Must Be Adopted Together, Shelter Says

A Humane Society in Wisconsin has been doing incredible work for thousands of animals. In fact — they see about 5,000 animals a year. They recently took in a new pair and it was going to be crucial that they are adopted together.

An adorable dog named Hank showed up at the Fox Valley Humane Society with a very special friend — a fuzzy purple Hippopotamus! The two were completely inseparable and the non-profit shelter caught onto that quickly.

The shelter adorably took to Instagram to tell the world about Hank and his best buddy. They wanted to make sure that everyone understood that they had to be adopted together. You had to take both of them into your home — that was the deal.

The hilariously cute Instagram posts on the pages to come are going to make you swoon. The shelter went completely over the top with some of the photos and we are totally in love with them.
